via WAP
Intellix has developed a software solution that provides companies with the opportunity to deliver intelligent counselling and decision support via mobile phone or handheld computer. The solution utilises the WAP standard (Wireless Application Protocol). The solution opens up for new opportunities to serve customers whatever their location. High quality, uniform counselling can now be delivered through an ordinary web browser or directly to the screen of the mobile phone or palmtop. Intellix has developed a family of standard applications used for supporting or automating business processes. Typically, Intellix products are used for establishing solutions in the financial sector, where companies need better control of business procedures involving interaction with customers, partners and employees. As an example, Intellix assisted Jyske Bank A/S in developing an intelligent decision support solution. The result being that all employees have constant access to uniform, expert decision-making competence while providing advice to customers regarding complex investment matters. The employees who have the insight and responsibility for the various business areas maintain the decision support system without assistance from the IT-department. This type of decision support and counselling solution can be operated through the Internet, intranet, extranet and now through wireless units such as mobile phones and handheld computers as well. Distribution through WAP gives companies brilliant, new opportunities to serve customers no matter where they are and regardless of their type of access to the Internet. Solutions can now be developed, offering customers product advice while waiting in the airport or provide the salesman with updated knowledge while in transit. Intellix aim is to create products that utilise the new possibilities for wireless communication.
