| 25 January, IntraMed A/S chooses intelligent technology
from Intellix A/S Copenhagen, 25th January 2001: Intellix A/S, provider of intelligent Knowledge Management and CRM solutions, announces that it has joined forces with medical software company IntraMed to provide innovative, intelligent solutions for the Scandinavian Health Sector. IntraMed A/S has developed a knowledge-based solution for the health sector called Health System Organizer (HSO). The solution integrates progress based electronic patient journaling (EPJ), booking, interactive advisory dialogue, decision support, quality control, administration, education, human resource planning, etc. The solution is based on the latest open Internet technology, Java 2 Enterprise Edition, which enables hospitals to integrate with existing IT-solutions utilizing one end-user interface. IntraMed will use Intellix technology to develop a decision support system for patient diagnosis called IntelliMed, as a part of Health Systems Organizer. Physicians and nurses will use the system to reduce mistaken diagnosis and improve the overall quality of patient treatment.
