IIntellix Knowledge Server - Best performance
on the Microsoft .NET platform
The newly released Knowledge Server 2.1 - Intellix' state-of-the-art
product for deploying support of intellectual decision processes - has
been boosted for optimum performance on the Microsoft .net platform.
Intellix has recently released version 2.1 of Intellix Knowledge Server,
implementing an open XML framework and improving performance by up till
a factor of ten. The product has now been subject to thorough testing
to determine performance, running on three different Microsoft Windows
operating systems, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server and Windows
.NET Standard Server.
The test was carried out with the highly reliable Loadrunner 7.02, from
the Intellix partner Mercury Interactive.
Head of Intellix' Department for Research & Development, Allan Hansen
says:
"This report underlines Intellix commitment to an open product infrastructure.
Very few companies in the business make these kind of hard numbers available
to the public. But the tests clearly demonstrate the performance potential
of Intellix Knowledge Server 2.1; using very common hardware an impressive
throughput has been reached, in particular on the .Net Server platform.
Also interesting are the differences in performance from Windows NT 4.0
to Windows 2000. Many companies have only implemented Windows NT 4.0 and
are considering Windows 2000 as a minor upgrade, but the tests show that
significant gains can be reached by choosing Windows 2000."
The test report that is available
at the
Intellix website, concludes clearly that Intellix Knowledge Server
2.1 performs best at the Microsoft .Net platform at high CPU utilisation.
